Cornish WIP


Work in progress pictures of the Cornish village project, keeping it small seeing what works and what dosen't - will work on more models and tightening up the lighting tommorow but now i need to get some sleeps

It looks nice as thumbnails but kinda blurry when viewed large! What size maps are you using?

im guessing that blurry/pastel effect is the art direction of this project?

would like to see you put some dirt where the floor meets the walls. it kinda looks like the building was built 3seconds before the picture was taken as there is no dirt at the bottom.

I think it looks blurred due to blogger compressing the image - it looks fine on my computer, need to start hosting the images somewhere were the compression isnt so bad.
The map sizes are 2048 for the diffuse, which is Unreals default size, 1024 for that painty brush stroke normal map and 512 for the parallax map.
Your completely right about the bottom of the building not only does it look brand new but it looks too computer generated - i was thinking of using 'brush' stle decals to blend the two materials together or something
